About Me

I started this as a costume blog several years ago in emulation of women whose work I admire. It has grown and evolved as I have, and I hope that my own work and research will be of use to others. I make historical clothing primarily from the 18th century for Revolutionary War reenacting, but I dabble in other periods for vintage dancing, and live action role playing games.

If you see me at an event, most of the time you won't see a well dressed lady, however. Look instead for a British solider in the Ninth Regiment of Foot. (I'll be the shortest, no doubt.) I also make 18th century silk "market bonnets" for Royal Blue Traders on consignment.

May aim here is a fun and informative blog-reading experience, and to help and inspire the way that others have done for me.
